He told 98FM although he just has a small part at the end of the show as Rovers Return barman Ciaran, he’s thrilled they asked him to do it as he’s always kept a good working relationship with Corrie. He also told us some interesting news about the future of Boyzone! The lads went to London last week meeting with their record label. Keith told 98FM “we came up with an idea to do an anniversary tour next year. It’ll be our 20th anniversary next year so we’re talking about doing a tour and an album incorporating The 02 in the tour. It’s all very exciting”. His good friend Ronan Keating has headed back to Oz for The XFactor – Keith told 98FM Ronan will be there on and off for the next 6 months – coming home to see the kids and they go to see him on the school holidays too – so how is Ronan doing since his marriage split? He’s been keeping the chin up and “they’re both in great form thank God”.

Boyzone - Boyzone Planning 20Th Anniversary Album And Tourwww.contactmusic.com/news/boyzone-planning-20th-anniversary-album-and-tour_1359229 More Sharing Services Irish boyband Boyzone are planning a special album and tour next year (13) to mark their 20th anniversary in music. The group formed after responding to an advertisement hunting for stars in 1993, and their debut album, Said and Done, hit shelves the following year (94). The band took time out in the 2000s, but was left devastated when singer Stephen Gately died in 2009, five months before their comeback record Brother was released. They embarked on a tour in honour of Gately, and group member Keith Duffy reveals the four-piece is plotting another trek, as well as an album, in recognition of their 20 years in the spotlight. He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "We've plans in place for a tour and an album next year for the 20th anniversary - that's if people want to come and see us! "We've a very loyal fanbase that always come in their thousands. It's a nice set-up. We never broke up, so we can take time out to do our own thing, and then get back together when it suits."
